Overview
The EBA (Education Information Network) redesign project was a large-scale digital transformation initiative aimed at improving the overall user experience for millions of students, teachers, and parents across Türkiye. The existing platform contained a vast amount of educational content and functionality; however, usability issues, visual inconsistency, and complex navigation patterns created friction for users.
The project focused on modernizing the platform’s UI and UX while preserving accessibility and scalability requirements. Through user-centered design methodologies, the redesign sought to simplify navigation, improve task completion rates, establish a consistent design language, and create a more engaging learning environment for users of different age groups.
As a multidisciplinary effort involving product managers, developers, researchers, and designers, the project delivered a refreshed experience that aligned educational goals with modern digital product standards.
My Role
As a Junior UX Designer, I designed user flows for selected features, contributed to UI kits and reusable components, created interface backgrounds and visual assets, and supported UX improvements across desktop, mobile, tablet, and smart board platforms.

Process
I joined the project during the design phase after the initial research and requirements had been defined. My work focused on designing user flows, expanding the UI kit, and creating visual assets for desktop, mobile, tablet, and smart board experiences. I collaborated with designers and developers to refine interfaces, maintain consistency across platforms, and support implementation.

Reflection
This project strengthened my skills in cross-platform UX design, design systems, and collaboration within a large product team. Working on an educational platform used across multiple devices helped me better understand how user needs and interactions vary between different environments.
